Being a good municipal manager requires certain skills that come with training and experience. A good municipal manager is a leader and is proactive and not reactive. Utilyzing my training and experience over the years, I wrote a paper recently listing the key traits and functions that I feel are required to be an effective manager. Hopefully, this list can be reviewed by others so that they can evaluate how effective the management is in their community.
